Wilson defeated Pitt County Post 160 9-2 on Monday. Matthew Watson (6-2) pitched eight innings (101 pitches), giving up six hits, striking out seven and walking two. He retired the final 11 batters he faced. Bradley Taylor hit a 3-run HR as Wilson opened an 8-2 lead after three innings. Post 160's Spencer Fagan matched Wilson's Watson the rest of the way.
